I mostly like drawing robots. Drawing isn't my primary form of self expression. I love music, and writing, and performing a lot more. Drawing is odd for me because it's solitary. In some ways that makes it wonderous and new and refreshing! in other ways, it's just strange to me. It's like a secret place where I can just scurry off to and make my own magical world!
I stopped drawing when I graduated high school. No more boring lectures meant no more doodles, sketches, masterpieces.
Drawing was hard. Making something worth showing off took effort. For some reason that turned me off for a while. For some reason, we associate effort with being incapable. But really, if I could draw without trying, would it be enjoyable? If I could sing effortlessly, would it be fun? If I could write without toil, would it even matter to me?
To try is to feel. To toil, reward.
